Harrisburg, PA
38,700 sq. ft.
September 2019

Pyramid Construction Services, Inc. served as the design build Contractor for the construction of the new Worship & Service Center for the Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region. Site work for the new building included the demotion of several standing buildings including a former grocery store, a pharmacy and a restaurant.

The 39,000 sq. ft. building features six multi-use classrooms, eight cooking stations in a teaching kitchen, an indoor gymnasium, a warehouse, a multi-purpose room and a chapel. Administration offices and private space to meet with guests, a choice food pantry and expanded food storage areas assist with the nonprofit’s mission.

Outdoors, two playgrounds and an basketball court are surrounded by sustainable landscaping which features a rain garden.

I would like to once again thank the whole team for your efforts on this project. It was truly a pleasure to work with all of you. Best team ever!
