Pyramid Construction Services, Inc. served as the General Contractor for the new Tröegs brewery facility in Hershey. This adaptive reuse of an existing warehouse will provide another destination venue to complement Hershey’s existing attractions.
Renovations of the 90,000 square foot warehouse feature a new brewery including a 5,000 sq. ft. tasting room that opens into an outdoor seating area and a window-lined hallway for an up-close view of the brewery operation.
The new facility allows for the public to tour the entire brewing process including the fermentation, oak barrel-aging room, pilot brewing room, lab and packaging.
Collaborating with Dave Maule Architects and Pyramid Construction on the Hershey build four years ago was an intense project. Even though we were under tight time constraints, we found two partners who shared our vision on a large-scale custom project requiring mountains of detail work and the ability to switch gears on the fly; their efforts speak for themselves.
